Gordo's Authentic Mexican Restaurant

I find myself being overly critical in regard to restaurants and food, but we stopped here today for lunch and I was beyond happy at all levels. Got the fried masa quesadilla that was filled with cheese and had it topped with chorizo. Will be going back every chance I get. Tortilla chips appeared to be fresh made and a little crunchy for my liking, but I'm not gonna discount the food at the expense of something that was free. Wishing I would've ordered the queso because I have a feeling that would've been equally satisfactory. Been quite some time since I have ate at a restaurant and been as satisfied as today.

We happened to be in Kingfisher and decided to give Gordo’s a try. I wanted to try the Parrillada and its was extremely flavorful and the meat was tender. Mrs. Flip Out tried the street tacos and they were great as well. The Little Flip Outs shared a kids quesadilla and the the homemade chips were an immense hit. It seemed like we had a new server who wasn’t used to such a busy evening crowd.

Staff friendly and service minded, they took pride in doing their jobs. It was clean and organized.

Wonder atmosphere! Great food!! Stylish decor with the perfect photo station in the waiting area. Took the whole family and we all enjoyed our food! I had the Gordo's fried quesadilla. I was impressed with such a neat take on a classic dish. The dressing with the salad was delicious. The best part....the queso!!! Get it!!
