Cedrus Homes - Construction Design and Roofing

Jamie did a custom build for our family home out in Arcadia. His homes are truly beautiful and very well built. I would highly recommend Cedrus Homes to anyone considering to custom build!

Recently I noticed what appeared to be a small water spot on my ceiling that concerned me. I thought it might be the result of my roof leaking. So, on a recommendation from a friend, I contacted the company Cedrus Homes. The next day the owner, Jamie Tipps arrived at my house and after a short discussion and inspection of my roof, my fears were confirmed. I indeed had a leak in my roof that was causing the water spot in my ceiling. Fortunately, it was a small leak and was easily fixed within 30 minutes. He then went on to inspect my whole roof and even went inside the attic to verify there were no other signs of leaks or problems. When I asked how much do I owe you, Mr. Tipps said there was no charge. He was glad to do it and asked me to consider him when I need a new roof.

I found Mr. Tipps to be very professional, friendly and very sincere about providing excellent customer service. I would definitely consider hiring him and his company when the time comes to have a new roof installed on my home. And, I have no problem recommending him and his company to my friends.

I thought I would share my experience hiring a young general contractor who owns a general all around construction company which at that time I hired him was called Shoot the Shingles, which at the time of this review has been changed to Cedrus Homes. His name is Jamie Tipps and at the time of hiring him, I needed a new cedar wood fence installed on my property. After meeting him, I immediately had good vibes about this person and felt he would do a good job as promised. I had other fence companies come out to my house to bid on the project but I realized quickly I was just talking to sales people who cared more about the commission they would make on the sale rather than addressing my concerns and needs. It does make a difference when you are talking to the owner of the company and not a disinterested salesman.

Talking to Mr. Tipps about my fence install it soon became apparent that he was sincerely trying to get me the most bang per buck when it came to the materials used and staying within my budget. I got my quote for doing the project within 48 hours and after all things considered; I decided to hire his company to do the install. On the first day of the install, to my surprise, Mr. Tipps arrived with his crew and worked alongside his men until the job was completed the next day. During the installation of the fence, Mr. Tipps took the time to point out things that he was doing to insure the fence was properly installed and would hold up against Oklahoma’s nasty weather. He made sure I was completely satisfied and that all my concerns were addressed.

Mr. Tipps took the time to make sure that something has routine as a fence install was done properly, went beyond code, and exceeded my expectations. Because of my experience with Mr. Jamie Tipps, I can without a doubt highly recommend him for your next project. It was a real pleasure working with him and would hire him again.
