Spring Creek Swim Beach

Great place for local folks to spend a day swimming, picnicking, hanging out and relaxing. I wouldn’t recommend it as a “tourist destination” but a great place to spend time if you’re already local. There’s tons of shady trees around the picnic area, but little tree coverage around the rest of the park.

This is a day-use area only, and a fee area. It gets quite crowded on summer afternoons, but you’re able to spread out well enough. It’s not the cleanest beach, but certainly not the worst. The restrooms leave a lot to be desired but are functional.

The picnic area feels like a full typical campground vibe without the campsites. Cement benches, grills and small campfire pits. Tons of great trees to hang hammocks, and it generally stays a little cooler thanks to the lake being on either side of you.

Good place for short family trip in OKC area

It's a good inviting spot with a good little beach to enjoy the day with friends or family. It could use more parking near the picnic locations, but that's the potential issue I saw. I will be back, and I enjoyed my time there today with friends.

Nice place for family and friends hangout! It has dedicated spots for sitting and bbq ! Also has nicely maintained beach area for swimming! Loved the place!
It has self managed entry, costs $6 per car. One should plan for a day visit as nothing to buy in nearby area, have to drive all the way to city.
Seen some groups playing music on loud speakers! Everyone’s there to have fun!!!

Cute spot to hangout and relax it defiantly reminds me of the beach a bit being away from home. And it’s perfect for kids and dogs to play in and enjoy. There’s even a playground right next to it and bathrooms so it’s all in a decent walking distance. Defiantly going back when the weather clears up. Plus its 7$ to get in and that’s for all day.
