The food is amazing! The service is very personable. I definitely recommend it !

I got a lb of pulled pork and a lb chopped brisket and a large fried okra. The meat was absolutely great and the okra was crispy like it should be. Literally my only complaint is the bbq sauce isn't good. I used my own recipe at home. None of the 6 of us that ate liked the bbq sauce so it was tossed. I got both the mild and hot. My suggestion is to get a better recipie for your barbecue sauce and y'all would be golden. Maybe some better deals. That is one of my favorite things when I get bbq is the sauce. We are huge Pappy's bbq lovers and their sauce is legit drinkable. Lol. So to sum up this review that turned a bit in to a ramble, their meat is GREAT, there staff is also friendly and they are very conveniently located to me at Ski island, again just suggest to change bbq sauce or add a sweeter option in both mild and hot, and to maybe do some better deals on your great food. This shop is right next to 7-11 and I'm big part of neighborhood association in Ski island and a few other and would be absolutely willing to advertise your bbq shop if you guys were willing to make those changes. I will be a return customer and even more often if changes are made as my husband and sons are HUGE bbq enthusiasts!

EDITED: We would really like to see you guys open more days. I had to go elsewhere for my bbq today and I really was craving some Big Boy's meat and okra to feed the big family today. I definitely would have given full stars if it wasn't for bbq sauce and being open limited hours.

My first visit, fish Plate -potato Salad and greens, all prepared with Southern KNOW HOW!! All the way. Also grabbed some ribs, yummy and cooked with the perfect little crunchy dry spots You Want to Find! Moist ribs with just right seasoning touch. Blessings....

Even if the food wasn't good, I would love going there just to talk to Junior and Ms. Kim. They are the friendliest people and make you feel like you're family. However, their food is fantastic, my favorite BBQ in town. I love their ribs and pulled pork. Great okra. Most of their business is take-out, but they have a couple of small tables to eat there. Great pricing, especially for their value/catering options. Excellent place for businesses to buy lunch or people hosting parties. Easy to miss driving by, but worth it to stop.
