Known mainly as a waypoint for Bluestem Lake's 2nd and 3rd coves, beach and camping area. Thankfully the Bluestem Aerial Spraying Svc moved a weed/tree spraying business in building office and a couple hangers that breathed life into a dying eyesore that fielded 1-5 small prop planes and maybe a helicopter or 2. It's being regularly maintained by City crews and hosts a couple annual events like the Rocket Launches. Additional city-owned land along side the runway could house future businesses coming in especially one catering to the lake aspects being the closet available city property to the lakes public beach and boat ramp as well the private lots, docks and boathouses.
