Great place to hike, and I felt like it was a nice little hidden gem.
This is a hidden gem just outside town if you're a nature lover. It has a very cool diversity basically showing you all the ecosystems throughout OK. It's really sad they've had to close it entirely and allow the land to hopefully rehabilitate because of selfish, careless folks coming in over the last year and absolutely destroying the place.
This is my family's favorite place to go hiking. My kids love the climbing aspect and the multiple paths give you lots of choices for change of scenery and difficulty.
I am not a regular hiker. I'm not really a hiker at all but I absolutely loved this place. So nice to get out into nature. I will say if you are like me, just know that there are some spots to take your time with. The Main Trail is a great walk and the Bluff trail can be challenging but worth it. My mom was with us and has bad knees. So she did not get on the Bluff trail at all. That IS where the real views are though. I'll be back for sure.
Redbud Valley is one of the best places around Tulsa for an easy, scenic hike. We love the bluffs and the cool air coming from the caves. The only downside for us is that we can't bring our dog, but I understand they want to keep it as pristine as possible. Great place for an afternoon hike!
