Ted's Café Escondido

So this is my first time here, very much doubt. Service is terrible, they overpriced my top shelf frozen margarita. They charged me $9 for one shot of Grand Mariner that was pourn into my frozen drink. The staff needs a serious retraining. The interior decor is very-dated. OMG, sorry to interrupt this review but News Flash📣
I JUST TASTED MY DRINK🤢 it's supposed to be a frozen margarita, but instead it taste like
"Sour Patch Kids" sourness. Has definitely left my tasting palette in bad shape...
This place was recommended to me by an associate that works here (no names) needed you know whom u are friend-lol
So yeah, like I was saying I'm really disappointed with such a prime location.
Well, I gave it a shot. I gave them a shot, even though they wouldn't put that "Shot"
(per included) norm-into a Top Shelf drink-pun intened🙂
Five star waste of my time

The food is good. You get several things included in your meal that you would normally pay for at other restaurants. Their cheese sauce and tortillas and butter are a great addition to the chips and salsa before your meal. And they follow-it up with a warm cinnamon sugar sophapila afterward. Definitely is on our rotation of restaurants we like to eat at.

Great food and great service! Had a great visit to Ted's today! Food was wonderful! We got a half sheet of chicken nachos to share and it was huge!

Seated right away. Peyton served six of us well. My Shrimp fajitas were very good. The girls really loved their goblets of margaritas. Appreciated the cook made guacamole without cilantro for me. Endless warm thick flour tortillas are always good. No surprises when we eat here.

Great atmosphere, food & service. Endless chips salsa & cheese dip also. The freshly made soft shells are served warm and delicious.
