Cherokee Nation Tag Office

The price of a new car tag as a Cherokee member is considerably less than at a non-Cherokee tag agency. It’s worth the visit! They said they were short staffed “again” with only 2 lanes open, so we waited 80 minutes with about 10-11 people in front of us. We were there a few minutes before opening on a Wednesday to wait in line to sign-in. After we signed in, the wait jumped to over 220 minutes. The Adair office rarely has a wait and would be worth the drive. I went to Collinsville since many people told me the Catoosa location is always packed, but this one was very busy too! Connie assisted us, and she was the sweetest person ever. She even nicely helped those walking in confused with the sign-in process as we were being helped. Once you sign-in, you must return to your car to wait. They will text/call you when it’s your time. Masks are required.

Very efficient once you get waited on, but you may be sitting in your car for a hour or more waiting for your turn to go inside the agency. You can check on your phone to monitor where you are at in line.

Went to renew my tag and was ready to wait. This place is amazing, so fast and professional. Thank you for the great service.
