A lot of fond memories of this park!
The City of Sand Springs has done a wonderful job of reclaiming this once-neglected park, installing state of the art playground equipment and a nice paved walking trail. The elevation changes and large mature trees create a unique and pleasant view, while the park as a whole serves to bring together the surrounding neighborhoods. The one thing it's missing is a nine-hole beginner's disc golf course. I fell in love with the sport at this park before the baskets were relocated to River City. It's the perfect park for a neighborhood course that can introduce new generations to the nation's fastest-growing sport.
Great place to go hang out. Always a clean Park. And usually monitored by the police at times.
Clean. Tables are covered. Great place to eat our carry out at lunch
A good typical small park, good size for the area. Not too big or anything and no trails but it's not built to be a fancy park. Has a nice small playground and plenty of grassy areas to play in for the kids. A simple place to be when you need to unwind or have a small picnic. Not busy.
