A warm and welcoming entry greets you as you enter The Parke. With its inviting hallways and comfortable apartments, Mom is pleased to be living there. Julie Kamalakis, activities director, with her jovial personality, not only brings smiles to residents each day, but is also very compassionate and kind to family members. The nurse aids are always helpful and I appreciate the attention they give to Mom. Billy Bailey does a wonderful job planning meals and each is prepared with senior health in mind. With me living out of state, it is such a comfort to know Mom is well taken care of at The Parke!
Look no further, I couldn't recommend The Parke enough! It is a phenomenal facility with a great atmosphere for all residents - It is very clean, homey & welcoming. The staff is outstanding, too! The second you walk in the receptionist, Heidi, is there to welcome you! Julie, the activities director is also amazing! She is ALWAYS interacting with the residents and entertaining them. She has also done an outstanding job keeping the residents safe during the pandemic, while also keeping them moving! The director of nursing, Jazz, is SO helpful and nice! She is very knowledgeable and has such a good relation with her residents. She has done an exceptional job keeping the facility safe and germ free! I 10/10 recommend this facility for your loved ones!
I have lived at the Parke for 13 years. I have seen a lot Activity Directors come and go and Julie is one of my favorites and a friend. She cares for all the residents and does an excellent job.
The Parke is like my second home to me and the staff is always there if I need them and through this virus they are doing a great job. My family loves all the activities the Parke does for the residents and our families. Great parties!
When I needed a place to call home for my mother two years ago, The Parke came highly recommended by two close friends. Five minutes into my first visit, I understood. The staff was warm and welcoming and the residents seemed happy. It just felt like home! My mother is less independent than she was, but the staff have all stepped up to make her comfortable and she feels secure. This is very important to me. She is 96 and her ability to move about and her energy have declined. Julie puts extra effort into keeping her involved and active. I can’t thank her enough! Thanks to all the staff for being my mother’s family!
My parents lived at The Parke for several years and enjoyed their time there so much. Whenever I visited, I stayed in their apartment with them and had the privilege of getting acquainted with the staff; some of the most caring and giving individuals I’ve met. They were available for whatever the need, or want, anytime of the day or night. And there were times when one of them might come and take their break with a resident, just to sit for a chat. The Parke is very clean, the decor is lovely and is upgraded frequently, the dining room is stately and the food is great. And the wait staff are very caring, as well. They would remember a resident’s favorite item on the menu and would automatically serve it. Prior to my parents moving there, we took them to view other assisted living locations, and while some were beautiful, the staff didn’t offer the same caring attitude as those at The Parke. I would wholeheartedly recommend The Parke as a place where you or your loved ones will be safe and cared for.
