(January 31, 2020, 7:16 pm)Amazing. It might actually be the best fried chicken in Tulsa. The sides were all great too and came out hot. You wait a little longer here than most other restaurants but if you've got the time it's so worth the wait. They don't have much in the way of seating though so it's not a great place for groups. Can't wait to return and try more if I can resist ordering the chicken again.
(May 31, 2019, 10:16 pm)I was walking around the Greenwood district learning both the amazing and tragic history of the place, and asked a young woman at the cultural center where I should eat. She told me about Wanda J's so I drove two blocks down the street and walked in. Tiny place, friendly, and outstanding soul food. I had liver and onions, collard greens, and brown beans. Maybe the best liver and onions I've eaten (it had a brown gravy on it, which I've never had with liver). I promised them I'd be back next time I was in Tulsa.
(August 9, 2018, 8:44 am)The chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and white gravy along with mac and cheese is great. I could have shared it with my wife. The other picture is the 2 peace with fried potatoes and slaw. Both of us left happy and full. Price was$$$. FYI.
