My happy place in Tulsa. The aroma of fresh baked bread & pastries smacks you in the face as soon as you walk in the door. If you come early, the selection of baked goods & confections is a bit overwhelming (especially if you're hungry). I've tried just about everything they make & haven't had a bad bite yet. My personal favorites are the spinach feta quiche & those fabulous lemon croissants, but I wouldn't pass on the opportunity to munch on anything from Saint Amon's.
This place is the real deal. The owner really cares about his food and clients.
Every time I’ve been in, they have Knocked it out of the park. Definitely try the savory items!
There are a lot of places around Tulsa that serve baked goods and would even go as far as to call themselves “bakeries” or “shoppes”. Some of these places are elaborately decorated and have additions such as outdoor swings, live music, and serve coffee flights. While those things are all well and good, they lack one thing: substance. Saint Amon’s is an authentic, French bakery with a chef and owner who is passionate about sharing his love and knowledge of French desserts and breads. My husband and I were *stunned* as we tasted a variety of items we ordered over the weekend. From butter croissants to lemon raspberry bars, chocolate raspberry muffins and an American Midwest classic the jalapeño sausage roll, with every bite we knew: THIS was the place. Nothing is overly sweet, everything is just right... It’s PERFECT. While there’s no seating inside (according to the owner, the French grab their baked goods and are on their way!), it is well worth the trip to visit their new-ish Riverside location. We are SO fortunate to have something like this in Tulsa and I hope this review encourages the team at Saint Amon and point others in the direction of a true bakery, overflowing with substance and incredibly delicious treats.
Saint Amon Baking Co humbly describes itself as a "Locally owned bakery specialized in French pastries, croissants, bread, etc..." which fails spectacularly to adequately express the scrumptious pastries, breads, and confections available. We have tried many of their delicious offerings and we have never, ever been disappointed by the taste, quality, or experience. If you visit only one bakery in Tulsa, this is the one to go too without question.
Saint Amon bakery is the authentic French bakery. From the very first visit, delighting in my very first chocolate croissant, I knew I was at home again in France. I have tasted just about everything this bakery offers from the variety of croissants to the quiches, the danishes, cookies and the wonderful challah, and my family has always been pleased and happy with each and every selection.
Tulsa is so blessed to have an authentic French bakery owned and operated by a real french Baker who studied in France. We love, love Saint Amon bakery and believe you will too.
Thank you Jean Baptiste. Saint Amon Baking is most highly RECOMMENDED!
