Royal Arms

So far, I am totally impressed. Just moved in and the management and staff are super nice and the place is a great value! I had an issue with the faucet on my tub not diverting water correctly and maintenance was totally on top of it. They fixed it the same day I mentioned it, and maintenance came to check on me before I even got a chance to call about it.

It's very hard to find affordable apartments that the owners actually care about and take care of. The owner lives on site for these which makes a huge difference because of course people care about the place they personally live more than they would if it were just owned by some sort of investment firm like most apartments are.

The landscaping is beautiful and the pool is really nice. It is a gated community which helps with crime, but the people in my immediate neighborhood and especially the apartments all seem very nice. I had to move my stuff by myself and one of the residents saw me struggling and called her son to come help me. There is a really popular skate shop around the corner, so I see the occasional skater punks around, which I think is really cool even though I don't skate.

My apartment is very spacious with two walk in closets, a huge patio, one linen closet, a sizeable dining room area, square kitchen (I hate gally kitchens), and it has a dishwasher and garbage disposal. The A/C is super cold. The surfaces and carpet were all clean upon move in, and there are no scrapes, dents, or holes in the walls.

The apartment has a couple minor defects that you should pretty much expect from an old place like the plumbing is slow and the floor is a little bit non-level in the bedroom. The stove is electric and has small burners, but it works. If the place were perfect it would be twice the price though, so we all just do the best we can when we are poor. 🤷‍♂️

The management and staff are wonderful. They actually cared about me and worked to resolve all of my issues.
I have a large dog and I don't like crating him for extended periods of time. They always worked with me and my schedule so, I rarely had to cage him up when they had to enter for maintenance.
The grounds are well taken care of and you can smell the flowers walking down the paths. I enjoyed walking my dog around even though there are a few cats that roam around. Most are friendly, I uploaded a pic of one walking with my dog.
Some pet owners don't pick up after their pets. Instead of using DNA testing to determine the culprits as I suggested, the manager hires someone to pick it up. I was impressed. She solved the problem and boosted the local economy by creating a job.
When I first moved into the apartment, the A/C wasn't working. It wasn't an emergency but was taken care of promptly.
Overall great living experience. I'm going to miss living there and if I move back I hope they have a spot available.

I love this apartment complex! My apartment is really nice and the manager has been great. I haven't had any issues what so ever. I love that this place is gated and I feel safe here. I was worried in the beginning when looking for a place since I'm a single female living alone but I can say that I don't have that worry here. I was worried at first also because of the area but they really take safety serious here.I have seen the courtesy patrol at night so they are active in keeping us safe. I also love the fact that Bridgette (the manager) is consistently trying to improve the complex and have it at its best. Ive really noticed that this complex is quiet and calm. My neighbors have been pretty nice as well. It's also very pet friendly which I was interested in because of my cat. Overall, it was the perfect place for me and has become home.
