This is a nice area of Fort Gibson Lake and a beautiful place to camp. There's an attendant at the entance. Lots of places to hook up if you have a camper, or you can use a tent. Dogs must be on a leash. The restrooms were close by, but I didn't go there because we used the camper one. I have used them in the past, and they were fine, with showers, if I remember correctly. Good swimming and fishing off the banks. Our friends were camping, so we came down to visit them for the evening. They do jug fishing, so we went with them on their boat to check the lines for caught fish, which were added to the others that they had already caught, and we had a delicious fish fry! The sunrises/sunsets are magnificent! Except for the children across the Bay playing in the water, it was completely silent! Of course, during the daytime, it can be loud with boats and is crowded during holidays and weekends! We had a great time! Fort Gibson is a large gorgeous lake with many areas like this one. It's popular, so it's best to reserve a site to make sure that you will have one when you come here.
Rocky point is a clean place.
Just don't leave anything left out cause
I got my ice chest and some food items stolen. There is a path from the house addition to the lake. But other then that I Love Rocky point I love camping there...
Didn't camp here, but drove out on a whim because the beautiful weather and sunshine were calling. Spent less than an hour here, just sitting by the water. Peaceful and quiet.
Great Corp Park with 3 ramps and courtesy dock. 60 campsites and lots of wildlife.
Favorite place to swim and camp with friends and family. They have a nice beach, clean restrooms and showers, playground, and 3 different ramps. The staff is friendly and the scenery is beautiful. Been visiting this location for almost 30 years.
