“I am using my daughter’s account to post this as I do not have a Google account. I have been using Dr. Castile Santana as my primary care physician since shortly after I returned to the US in 2015. I found him through our company’s directory. I liked him because he listened and his goal in treatment was the same as mine, to stay as healthy as possible. I could talk with him and discuss treatment options. He has consistently kept abreast of the latest technologies. He is very much a wellness Dr. as opposed to being someone pushing big Pharma. My goal was minimal use of drugs and invasive therapies. I have been successful in staying healthy being able to run and lift weights into my late 60’s. (I was squatting the same weight as I did 10 years ago) through the use of Hormones (NOT steroids). When I did require intervention such as knee surgery my recovery was quicker than my contemporaries. My wife initially did not use him as she thought he was a “guy” Dr. However on her first visit he listened to her issues and referred her to a specialist who found her herniated disk in her neck and relieved her pain and other symptoms. She was able to drop the prescriptions she was on. Since then she has also remained a patient. We like this Dr well enough to make a 160 mile trip to see him as our primary care doctor. If your goal is to stay healthy as opposed to masking symptoms then I believe you will be happy with Dr. Santana.”
