I am a licensed mortician in Texas. I have followed Elizabeth Fornier as a leading funeral professional online for some time, and consider her a mentor to the funeral profession.
I was honored to be called upon to serve a family she had in her care in Oregon as the receiving funeral home in Austin, Texas. The arrangements to receive the loved one into our care from hers, and the communication of the desires of the family went seamlessly.
Across the country we orchestrated and performed a beautiful vigil and green burial for a very loved person.

When I was acting as funeral director for a family death, the burial site recommended contacting Cornerstone/Elizabeth Fournier in case I needed extra help with anything. While I struggled with unnecessary bureaucracy created by government and healthcare agencies (lookin' at you, Kaiser) and impressively unhelpful people, Elizabeth was a beacon in the night of compassion and support.

She offered (and followed through on the offer!) to call the Kaiser staff and advocate for me in filling out the death certificate. She offered to do the death certificate herself, if they continued to belligerently refuse to do their portion. She did all of this in a personable, friendly, and kind affect. Not only did she never try to sell me anything, she actually offered services that should have been pay for free, if I ended up needing them.

I cannot recommend her services enough. If I have the opportunity to throw her a bunch of money in the future, I absolutely will.
