“I stopped B&R Auto Wrecking near Sandy today to try and find a bolt I needed for my 97 GMC pickup. It was 4:15 pm when I got there and the guy at the desk let me know they had just closed the yard, and that it closes one hour before closing time at 5 pm. He asked what I needed and I showed him an example of what I needed. He said, "I'll tell you what, if you're quick I'll let you go look". I told him I would and he let me in. I was able to find the bolt I needed and was back out in 10 minutes. I came back to the same guy and he said it was all good and that I could have the bolt. He didn't have to do that. This is what I appreciate about small business, they still care. I wanted to say thank you, much appreciated!! You have a loyal customer here.”

“This place is great! Large variety of snacks and drinks. Water floaties for the river and an array of items that you may have forgotten (or not realized you needed...). Lots of gear for fishing and bait and lure options! As well as bags of ice! Biggest complaint is no public restroom... And my kids always need to go about the time we stop here... 🙄 Staff has always been great! They are understanding and patient. And even when the line is long they aren't overly rushy or rude to the customer they are serving ATM!”

“This is such a great school! I have kiddos in preschool, now pre-kindergarten, and first grade and this is thier first year at this school. I could not be happier! Both my boys love going to school here and really enjoy the after care program. My 1st grader had a hard time at his last school because most of the kids knew eachother already and would not play with him. He had an amazing teacher there but even her attempts to help keep him from sitting alone during recess were not successful. He was hesitant in starting a new school. I was so ecstatic when he came back from his first day at HVJA with a HUGE smile telling me about all his new friends!!! The kids here are friendly and VERY accepting of new kids. I have even watched how wonderful they are towards other kids with disabilities. Likewise the parents have been very friendly and encouraging offering help if needed. The teachers here are friendly and are great with the kids. They have art, P.E., music, piano lessons if you want, a library, full gym, before and after care if needed, and daily hot lunch options. I'm glad we found this school and HIGHLY recommend it!!!”

“A non-descript little store on Orient Drive that I have passed many times, but thought it was defunct. Since my wife and I decided to shop for some be furniture today, it occurred to me to go check this place out first. Turns out they have a very good selection of furniture and can order you just about a thing you like. On top of this our salesperson, Ellen, was very helpful and not at all pushy. On top of this the prices are extremely good. We ended up buying a recliner sofa, kitchen chairs and living room chairs. The prices were that good. However, they do not deliver. You have to arrange your own pickup and transportation.”

Whether it’s at the grocery store or out shopping, when I pay my bill inevitability the cashiers will comment or ask me where I get my nails done. She takes her time and now ends her service by adding lotion and a hand massage. Excellent manicurist and reasonably priced.”

“Sam has been watch my 2 kids for the past 2 years and it is the ONLY place I can leave them without any meltdowns (including family!) She always has something new planned for them whether it be a science experiment, new book/song that goes along with their current theme, sensory station or play activity that my children love! Sam is so passionate and devoted to her students. She truly cares about her students, their development and I appreciate being able to have a close relationship and open dialogue with her about their progress. It's not easy trusting a "stranger" to watch your most prized possessions but I would recommend Sam to ALL my family and friends. While I'm away I know they are safe and receiving loving care, having fun, growing and learning. And it's pretty cute when they tell me they "want to go to my friends." I know they are talking about going to see Sam- and believe me, they say if often!”
