Barrett Guitar Repair

Great communication and very high quality work. I was afraid the damage to my Martin was fatal but he was able to repair it and improve the set up. It now plays better than before and I couldn't be happier.

Awesome shop. My daughter's guitar needed some work before her next lesson. We dropped it off and got it back in 24hrs. We will definitely be coming back with our other guitars as needed.

I'm so glad I found Barrett. He really knows his stuff. I recently got back into playing guitar and no matter how nice of a guitar you purchase it is going to need a setup at the least. Barrett will not only setup your instrument, but also for how YOU play it. Don't waste your time or money anywhere else.

Mr. Barrett did some electric and cosmetic work and set up my Gibson. The fixes were no big deal. Mr. Barrett knows where to find the hard to find parts. Easy stuff. What I was impressed with was the set up. This things never had this kind of action. No buzz, very low strung, smooth and eeeasy action. Mr. Barrett is a good listener and after I dropped off the Gibson I was very sure we were on the same page. I was very relieved at the cost.

Barrett did a fantastic job on my G&L L2000 bass. I had taken it to various shops on the past, all of whom had adjusted the neck to "improve" playability. Turns out it needed the frets levelled, and that I did not have to live with a neck shaped like a banana. Great job, great price, and finished on schedule. He's a little out of the way, but well worth the trip. I will not be taking my gear anywhere else from now on.

Update: since my first visit, I've taken two Jazz basses to Barrett, and he's done excellent work on both. As another reviewer stated, he's an old school craftsman, and he works hard to make your guitar the best it can be.

Update: March 2017- I took another pair of basses (Fender Jazz and Warwick Corvette) to Barrett for some TLC, and once again he did a great job. He's always worth the drive.
