“Boy, it’s hard to get five stars from me...but it’s New Years Eve and we just discovered the best Asian food anywhere close by. And a full five stars it is. We were busy so I had to call them at noon for a 7 p.m. pickup. We got chicken wings, barbecued pork loin, sautéed green beans and prawns with a sweet creamy sauce and walnuts (there was broccoli in there too). My wife walked into the place only to be greeted by a lady holding out our order. Exactly on time. Got it home and dug into our glorious New Years Eve dinner and yes, it was equal to the occasion. EVERTHING was done exactly right. We’ve tried all the places around here but this is the one we’ll go back to.”

“Very well kept property! Most of the Staff is very nice! I had a major issue which was resolved, but no compensation for inconvenience was offered, which I thought should have been offered. In the morning if you come down at 8:50a for breakfast (which does end at 9a) and the pancake machine is out of batter the lady that worked the area would not refill the machine. They had a decent breakfast and we loved the pancake machine, 2 perfect pancakes in 1 minute was really cool! They have scrambled eggs and sausage also if you eat that. It’s nice to see a decent hotel breakfast again. With COVID many hotels had stopped offering serve yourself real good food breakfast. We travel a lot, so this was a nice change for us.”

“The lovely woman who waitresses here is so kind and compassionate. She really sets the tone for this place. We come back again and again for the great food, but also for the fantastic service and attitude of this one woman. I hope the owners appreciate her and compensate her accordingly. The vegetables are always fresh and perfectly cooked. The meat tastes to be of high quality and is consistently cooked to perfection. Even when I live in NE Portland, I would make the drive to West Linn just to eat this food. We look forward to being able to dine in house again soon. For now, we will continue to support this GREAT Chinese food with take out service.”

“I don't know how Macy of A Gentle Wave has not had any Google reviews yet, but that simply won't do. I've got significant health challenges with a lot of problems stemming from the gut. I've never had a colonic before now, and I've got a lot of childhood bathroom trauma. The idea of having a bowel movement with somebody in the room, letalone interacting with me, makes my nervous system lock up like fort Knox. Macy's warm and genuine bedside manner put me at ease in some of the most challenging emotional releases I've had in a decade. As a massage therapist by trade, I can also vouch that her abdominal and intestinal massage skills are highly effective and helped my body let go of very stubborn abdominal tension built up over years. Her aid assisted my body in learning to trust again, and this process assisted my body in learning to let go. I've never felt treated so professionally and yet so personally at the exact same time. “I'm writing concerning the West Linn Building Department. I recently moved to West Linn and have been very impressed with West Linn's building department. They make it easy to get the proper permits and are nice to deal with. The building inspector, Adam Bernert, has been especially helpful as I have been working on upgrading my home with a solar panel system, radon mitigation fan, seismic upgrade and now a mini split heat pump. Great employees like that help make West Linn a better place for everyone.”
