Columbia City Dog Park

Best place to take a very active border collie pup to run. Who wants to herd everything. And I do mean everything. Keeping her fenced in so she can run and play is the best.

Update: We have taken our little girl several times to visit her friends over the past several months. Due to lots of heavy rains wasn’t able to make it weekly, however we go as often as possible. Most recent being last Sunday. I do advice to be sure to bring a water bowl and water, the babies definitely need their water while playing so vigorously with their buddies!

Original post: My pup really enjoys herself at the park and meeting up with her pup friends! We stay for about 90 minutes to 2 hours and she is tired for the next day or so!

Other half delivers for his job nearby and told me about the park. We come to Oregon every weekend from our home in Washington (by Olympia) and decided last week to see how our little girl does with other dogs and in a dog park setting. She loves it and loves visiting her friends! We have went 2 weeks in a row and plan to make it a weekly adventure for her.

I hesitate to write a review only because this place is so great, that we'd love to keep it to ourselves. Lol. Big wide open area for large dogs to run, which we happen to have 2 big dogs. The only downside I can see is if you go after rain, the middle is muddy. Our boys left with muddy paws, so be sure to bring a towel to wipe down paws if you don't want the car to get muddy.

Nice size dog park with 2 areas, 1 for if your dog needs to play by itself or a big section if it gets along with other dogs. Nice feature in case you have a but if an anxious dog. Wish they had some way to get water for the dogs. Other then that great park for the dogs to go play at for a bit.
