Columbia Memorial Gardens

It was raining steadily whilst I had been biking today, and I wanted somewhere I could get off the highway and get out of the rain. So I pulled into this quaint little cemetery, and rested under the shelter until the rain subsided again.

What impressed me most here is how nearly every grave and memorial is decorated with some type of colourful flowers -- fresh or artificial -- even though it is not a holiday of any kind. It's very pretty and seems so thoughtful.
