I came to town for a funeral, and my alternator died as soon as I arrived. I was too far from home to have my car towed, and was worried I'd have to take a train back and forth for work while waiting for the part to arrive and someone to have time to replace it.
Joe had my car fixed in about 24 hours for an extremely fair price. I have driven my car several hundred miles since he replaced the alternator and there's no sign of the battery light!
NWAuto made a trip that was already very hard much easier than it could have been, and I cannot thank or recommend them enough. If you are looking for a mechanic with serious integrity and know-how, this is the place to go.
Joe was kind and respectful to me. I felt he was honest and straightforward with me regarding my vehicle issues. He fixed the concerns in a timely manner and was true to his word.
Additionally, I learned he has experience with Chevy Suburban, so I will definitely be requesting Joe expertise and services again in the near future.
The shop area is nice, climate controlled, and off the main hwy and city streets, (tricky to find, unless you know), which means less risk of break-in, vandalism or damage to vehicles.
Good mechanics are hard to find. Joe is definitely a good find!
I had a laundry list of small repairs needing to be done to my grandpas old Truck. Joe got me taken care of quickly and it drives so much better now. I was so glad to find someone who could do the work since it can be a pain to source parts for it. Will definitely be coming back for the remainder of the work when I can.
GREAT SHOP
My truck broke down a week or so ago on hwy 30 and I am new to the area and had no idea how to call. I called Joe's Auto because it was close to where I was and it looked like the smaller shop I am used to in Arizona. Joe was so helpful he gave me a good tow company to call that was very reasonable and very fast. I had my truck towed to his shop when we got there he has the sweetest dog that came out to greet me and since I am a dog person that helped make me feel better.
Joe knew exactly what was going on when I called him and explained what happened. He said my fuel pump went out and once he looked at it that is exactly what it was. He ordered the parts and had it fixed. Joe's prices are very fair and I really appropriated that he kept me informed on what was going on he did not make promises he could not keep. He was very open and said he ordered the parts and he should have them the next morning but there was a chance it would not be until the next afternoon which meant it would take him an additional day. He knew I worked in PDX and live in Rainier so there was going to be some juggling getting my rental back and getting my truck and he worked with me.
I will be taking all of our cars to Joe's from this point on for any repairs they need he is a great mechanic and a genuinely nice guy that does not gouge his customers.I am so glad I found his shop and would recommend him to anyone who want good work done for a good price.
Thanks so much for your help Joe
