“My neighbors had reccomended this shop and I am so happy I came here. I am now a customer for life. I have 2 old Toyota trucks ('84 RV and my '91 truck) and not everyone likes to work on them or appreciates them. Problems were diagnosed and repaired quickly. Angel also noted a problem with the shocks on the RV that I have been complaining about to old mechanic for years (extremely rough ride). A fix is in the works. It is a pleasure to work with an honest, truly friendly and highly skilled mechanic.”

“We visited with some family and they took us here for lunch on the Monday holiday. We were there right when it opened but it filled up pretty quickly, and now I know why! We got the fondue with sausage and cheese curds for our app. The fondue was tasty and the brown bread was melt in your mouth with the cheese. The the brats had a nice snap to them when taking a bite. Really delicious!! We all got a little something different and I chose the ranch brat and it was really tasty, but came with too much ranch. If you don't like a lot of ranch, I would def ask for it on the side. The brat burgers were very good and each one tasted so different! The French fries were hot and crispy! After we ate we wondered around the shop and picked up some German candy and cookies for the kids. They had a lot of authentic sauces and seasonings as well as to go food and frozen family meals. Would recommend!!”

“I was surprised to find this gem in Mt.Angel. I grew up in Woodburn, sampling many different Mexican restaurants throughout my time living there. El Caporal is on par with some of my favorite, quick-bite, Mexican restaurants. Prices are great. Food was fresh and flavors/textures were well balanced. Their hot sauce was wonderful. I'd highly recommend trying this place.”
