Parking lot is free, pretty small and may be busy on weekends. There are restrooms. The closest viewpoint from parking lot is pretty steep but super short. Worth stopping there first. There is a loop BUT if you want sometime shorter, there is an in and out trial from Parking lot. Easy and worth doing at least that to get to the fall. Once down there, the fall is gorgeous. Beautiful, green lush surrounds you. The bridge is an amazing viewpoint. Perfect spot for pictures but also to stand or sit to take it all in.
Recommend seeing all other falls in the area.
I absolutely loved this trail! It was so relaxing and hearing the waterfall in the background was so cool! I hiked 3.42 miles, but that’s just because I went off the trail a little bit. 10/10 would go back!
One of my favorite hikes in the gorge! The lower falls are pretty close to the parking area and the upper falls is accessible via a loop trail that’s parallel to the stream between the falls, minus the switchbacks that take you up to the top of the lower falls. Not a hard hike and it can be completed in a little over at hour. The restrooms here are stinky but what do you expect from pit toilets.
Very easy hike and beautiful fall you can splash in. Upper falls is a wonderful place to cool down. Lower falls is all paved. This is an easy hike to take anyone to. There is a nice picnic area in the park below. Great family hike.
Really beautiful. And it was great that you could hike right under them and feel the mist.
