  The donuts are an amazing variety with so many choices. The staff is kind and helpful in assisting you in what you want. They also have a good sense of humor.

  The Blue Star Donuts at the PDX is just as good as the other locations in Portland based on my experience. I visited 15 minutes before closing and there were three options left. I chose the raspberry rose pistachio donut. It was filled with sweet and tart raspberry that paired well with the rose and pistachio. I would definitely come back in a heartbeat for any of their offerings.

  Always amazing, fresh-tasting donuts. Love the variety. The Creme Brulee is genius!

  Not a donut person, until now. What heinous f*kry is this. Needed coffee and they had Stumptown so as I'm waiting to buy coffee I'm smelling the aromas of the different selections and my bionic nose is like...you must bring this closer. Ok, nose, you often do me a solid, I will get you one to bring close. So i buy one of the 8 possibilities that have enough interesting ingredients that nose would be happy. I almost bought the vegan mexi chocolate or the raspberry rosemary but I picked the Cointreau creme brulee before they told me I had better stop huffing the goods. Holy crud Batman... light orange flower scent and flavor in the incredibly well made custard interior. A brioche style dough with a crunchy- brule crackle on the outside. Guess there are donuts for me.. Why g*d do you forsake me with one more tasty thing to avoid?? The staff at the airport location PDX are really nice.

  Blue Star is great but really, really expensive for a donut. It's also not so mind blowing that it's worth it. With that said I'll pay for it every once in a while but not very often. Blueberry basil bourbon is my favorite.
