(August 18, 2022, 3:06 pm)I can't recommend this clinic enough. I had rats that received excellent care from everyone here! We were even able to extend one's life significantly because the vet recognized signs of a pituitary gland tumor and got her on the right meds to shrink the tumor and help her pain. They even helped with a couple of emergencies and went above and beyond. We recently lost our last two ratties, but they got a much longer and better life thanks to the care of this clinic! Thank you so much for taking great care of Buzz, Neil, Nebula and Nova! We are very grateful for your service and help!

(July 21, 2022, 7:07 pm)I have a tiny, feisty 10yo bun with dental issues and Avian & Exotic has provided excellent care to him. Dr. Harrenstien has been amazing - she is extremely knowledgable and experienced, yet always takes the time to answer your questions and explain things in a way you can easily understand. She's never in a rush, unlike other vets (not to mention human doctors)! Everyone there has always been very kind and helpful, and I can always trust them to take the best of care of Mr. Bun and laugh about his crazy feisty attitude. :) Thank you Avian & Exotic!!
(July 19, 2022, 11:10 am)Really great care! They are booked out quite a bit so try and schedule in advance. They have the only board certified avian specialists in the area so it makes sense they would be booked out. There is another clinic but they are only a DVM, which it was important to me to see an actual board certified specialist. They took great care of my 14 year old cockatiel that I had just rescued. They were thorough and answered all of my questions.
(April 11, 2022, 1:00 pm)We took our bunny here for two years. They are hands down the best vet in the area for rabbits. They would always call and email with pricing to make sure we understood and consented to cost before any treatment. Their staff is clearly very knowledgeable on treating rabbits, which is not easy to find! They also offer boarding services. The staff is incredibly kind and mentioned to me on several occasions how much they loved my little Bilbo.
Unfortunately we had to make the difficult decision to put him down yesterday. They made the painful process as gentle as it could be. Even though due to COVID they’re not allowing people inside they still arranged for us to have time to say goodbye to him. When I handed him off to the vet tech Rachel I knew he was in good hands and would be given love through his final moments.
