(June 22, 2020, 9:00 pm)I have only good things to say about Portland Piano Company. They are easy to talk to, deal with, they are honest, true to their word, show up when scheduled (within reason), etc.
I had a piano I wanted to sell. They offered to pick it up, do any minor repairs and tuning and sell it for me on consignment with no money out of pocket. How cool is that?
I've been in the music business my entire life. 40+ years as a musician, as well as having done repair/tech work throughout, including owning a modestly successful and sometimes known shop called Players Repairs (stringed/fretted instruments) in West Los Angeles.
If you are in the market for a piano, or are thinking of selling one you already have, may I highly recommend that you start with Portland Piano Company first.

Mitch was very knowledgeable about the piano and offered to sell it for me at Portland Piano Company. He and his staff have been professional and courteous throughout. And, I’m happy to say he found a new home for the piano.

(November 3, 2019, 11:22 am)My experience with Portland Piano Company has been almost magical. My wife and I were buying a new home with gorgeous views and the grand piano dream was the centerpiece of the equation. About the time we were getting close Brenda Kell sent an email with all the wonderful selection and spectacular prices. Perfect timing. And when I went up to take a look I discovered my friend Park Llafet works there, quite possibly the greatest piano salesman that there is. Park intuitively put me in the EXACT piano for me at the price that could make it a reality. Park is such a class act that at the end of the transaction he shook my hand and said a heartfelt, "thank you". I feel like I'm the one who should be thanking him, especially since I can see a much more tattered version of my same model piano online for much more money. The people who work at Portland Piano Company are all top notch. Warm and fun, I love going in there so much. And I absolutely LOVE my Baldwin SF-10! Such a finely crafted instrument from the golden age of piano making. Score. Mitch informed me that when I'm ready to get the Fazioli, Park will upgrade me at full value trade in. Class act I tell you! Love Portland Piano Company!!
