“Nakamoto Forestry’s Shou Sugi Ban siding (Yakisugi) is excellent. The Japanese Cypress boards are top quality and the burn is thorough. I see no cupping in the entire shipment of 6” shiplap. You never really know how good a company is until things go wrong. Nakamoto Forestry is great. My shipping nightmare was not caused by them, but they took care of me and stayed on top of things. Let me explain: I needed straw bales for my garden but after calling a couple 'big box' home improvement centers with no luck, someone on my neighborhood Facebook page suggested Linnton Feed and Seed. Will answered my call and described their size and price and then I laughingly asked 'Gosh, I wish you guys delivered.' And he said 'How about now?' Within an hour, I had two straw bales delivered AND placed exactly where I wanted them by the driver named Darcy - who was just as friendly and efficient as Will was. Each week we work on new songs as well as review my favorites. Norm is so knowledgeable about all aspects of music. He really enjoys teaching. I’m always relaxed at the lessons, and we progress at a comfortable rate. There’s always something new to learn, new songs in different styles, blues improvisation, playing by ear.
