Dairy Creek Camp West

Unfortunately it was all reserved out when we got there. The amenities looked great not what I'm used to seeing in Montana each site had full service 30 and 50 amp, water possibly sewer it was dark couldn't tell for sure. Reservations are recommended but only taken through October. They need to Mark reserved spaces better in the West area with cones as the east side does. We thought we had a spot but found out it was reserved making it frustrating. Otherwise great place

Great campground, host Michael was awesome! Everything clean and fellow campers great, biked from site along Banks - Veronica trail. Next time we'll try the mtn bike trails 😄

Lots of trails, easy to moderate, to hike or bike on. Clean, well maintained sites. Friendly & accommodating staff. Going in the Fall meant witnessing the changing season. A few small children around. But none played at the playground, which was surprising because it was a really nice one. There were lots of very friendly "senior groups" with their dogs & bikes. The restrooms and showers are clean. Then there are peaceful, quiet nights and if you are lucky the stars might come out and give you a sense of awe. Totally amazing!!

Dairy Creek Camp West is the larger of the 2 camping areas at LL Stub Stewart State Park. The camp west area has larger camp sites that are spaced further apart surrounded with a larger and denser wooded area. The area has access to a lot of hiking and biking trails as well as the famous Banks - Vernonia trail which is a wide paved trail through the coast range. The camp west area also has a large tent area with a restroom area and several water pumps for fresh water.

Beautifully kept large camp spaces. Very clean. Love the trees and the trails.
