She is kind and professional. She was very patient with me when I wanted to delay surgery (gallbladder) bc of pregnancy. I landed in the hospital for a week when I was first diagnosed (a stone was stuck and causing a lot of problems for me) and she was there always when she said she'd be. She could have had nurses pass on a lot of information but she always came herself. She explained all the pros and cons and really took her time with me. When I did have the surgery it went as planned and the follow up was great too.

Dr Hoeksema is an amazing individual and I felt very blessed to have her for my doctor. Not only is she an incredibly talented surgeon and doctor she is compassionate, patient as well as comforting and caring. I would highly recommended her, she is simply the best.
