Roamers Rest RV Park

This is not a campground -- it is a spot to park your own comfortable RV while doing business or visiting family in the Beaverton area. There was no fire pit or picnic table, but it was quiet and **clean**. They take great care of the park, it feels safe, the location is convenient and close to plenty of shopping, and even though I did not get a chance to meet any of the staff I'm going to assume they are great as well. We'll be staying again the next time we visit family in the area.

This is a good place to stay. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Other RVers were also friendly. I felt safe staying here and if back in the Portland area will definitely give Mrs. Denise a call. The grounds are very well maintained, the restrooms and laundry are also very clean. The only negative I have to say is the spaces are kinda close together. That's why I gave 4 stars but other than that this is a 5 star RV Park.

We stayed at Roamer’s Rest for two months with a 26’ travel trailer. This is a very quiet RV park, and the rigs aren’t packed in super tight. There is a little bit of road noise if you stay on the upper level like we did, but there is no noise on the lower level. The noise wasn’t enough to bother us though! It’s really close to downtown Tigard, with all the stores and services you need within a 10 minute drive. It’s about a 45 minute bus ride to downtown Portland, and there are multiple bus stops a few minutes walk away.

It’s very dog friendly, with a grass area and poop bags by the river. Our two dogs were very happy here.

The bathroom facilities are the best I’ve ever used at an RV park. Super clean, excellent water pressure and heat. All the showers have a step so you can actually put your soaps somewhere. My favorite thing, though, is that each toilet/shower is in its own room with a double locking door. It’s not just a big shower hall, which was really nice. The laundry machines work great too. Your clothes will be dry after one cycle! No more adding quarters before the cycle ends! Every time I have gone in there it has been empty. No fighting for a shower or washing machine!

We drove around to check out other RV parks before we booked another month, and believe me when I tell you that this is the NICEST RV park in the Portland area!!! You won’t get more space or a cleaner park anywhere else. All of the staff are really nice and helpful!

Wonderful place, lawn guys is nice and friendly and one of the ladies in the office is too... other one not so much. Being on the river is nice and people are quiet. Only complaint is that I'm pretty sure I was the only one who actually cleaned up after their dog. Watch for landmines, people are rude.

Nice park, good location close to OHSU, as we were there for medical reasons. Park management was very accommodating to us as we potentially had to stay past reservation period. Restrooms and laundry room was clean. We had a pull through site, #79. It was a bit unlevel towards the back end, so had to use blocks to level the motor home on the rear tires. Other than that, no problems. We would stay here again, and due to the usage we saw, recommend reservations rather than just showing up.
