“My mom is having a great time at the Marquis in Tualatin. The care workers are very kind to her. They take the time to turn on and off her electric fireplace every day, which really makes my mom feel cozy. They get creative dressing my mom. She says they dress her up like a doll. We were at a meeting the other day and I noticed the care worker was rubbing her back a little to help Mom feel loved and secure. It brought tears to my eyes. When your mom has to move into assisted living, you feel a certain amount of nervousness regarding how she will be treated. My mom is pretty helpless now. To see her treated not only kindly, but lovingly meant so much to me. I am so grateful for that. The protocols at the Marquis are good as well. I appreciate the way they call to communicate with us about everything that is going on that they think we might want to know. Mom's children really feel respected as the authorities regarding decisions about Mom. Folks at the Marquis don't assume to make decisions on their own. That is key as well. I am just so happy she is there and is being taken care of with so much kindness. It is huge relief!”

“Gave the game up two years ago. Arthritis was so painful in my left shoulder that I couldn't take it anymore. I've missed the game and all that goes with it. My brother in law suggested Golf Tec. I called and spoke to Michael and he sold me on giving it a try. In 4 lessons he taught me an entirely different swing. I kept waiting for the pain to arrive, but it didn't and I'm striking the ball better than ever. He hasn't graduated me beyond a 6 iron yet and I finally played 18 last Sunday (Easter). I teed up at Columbia Edgewater only using my 6,7,8,9 and wedges per his instructions. Had two pars, stayed in the fairway most of the day, shot over 100 (short game needs work) but I am so pleased that I had no problem getting around the course and with NO PAIN, no aching afterwards. I cannot wait for them to re-open so I can move up.”
