“I found Cornerstone Montessori on-line and signed my kids up before we moved across the country, having talked to the teacher on the phone, but without having seen it. It was one of the best decisions I made while preparing to move; this school has been a tremendous blessing to our family! The kids love it, and so do I. The teachers are warm, loving, and flexible. My kids come home singing new songs every day, and often surprise me with what they''ve learned at school. I really love the four-day schedule, because it gives the kids consistency each day, but leaves Friday mornings free for appointments, errands, playdates, etc.”

“I joined Hillsboro Shotokan Karate (HSK for short) in 2017, and have never regretted that decision. Sensei Joseph is an amazing instructor who manages to inspire people to give their 100% every class, and is someone who helped me bring my Karate to the next level. His passion for Karate is really apparent, as is his dedication to helping students excel. He is extremely knowledgeable and is always willing to share that knowledge with students to help them better understand Karate. Karate has helped me gain self-confidence, fitness, and discipline, and has given me the confidence to defend myself if needed. The HSK community is a really welcoming and accepting place, where everyone shares a passion for Karate. I can't really say anything bad about HSK even if I tried, and I would really recommend joining the club if you are interested in martial arts! Even in quarantine the training is still going strong, as Sensei Joseph is keeping the classes going over zoom.”

“Since at least one other reviewer posted on their enrollment experience, I thought we'd do the same. Our child is enrolled in Carden Cascade this fall, and none of our paperwork was lost. In fact, we were given both electronic and hard copies. Our questions were answered quickly and professionally. We are very excited for our kid to attend this school. It has one of the best student-to-teacher ratios in the state. In addition to the great class size, the small school size is a huge benefit in our eyes. We think that more schools should look into the back-to-basics approach that the Carden Method uses. It is true that small schools will have trouble affording extensive science facilities, but they do have Lego robotics, and interested parents with STEM schools can help overcome this challenge with other after-school offerings. After graduating Carden Cascade in 8th grade, I imagine many will pick their child's high school based on strength in science, technology, engineering, and math. More than one of our son's friends from his daycare are enrolled in Carden Cascade this fall, and if things work out as well as we think they will, we'll continue to recommend it to others. I'll update this review if my impressions change, but I don't think they will.”

“This theater seemed sad from outside but once you’re in it’s like a completely different world. It gave a retro vibe which we loved. People working there were extremely friendly and helpful. The theater, seats, washroom and basically everything was extremely clean. We felt a homely environment and we’d definitely keep going there. I think they should start movie club membership type thing here as in Cinemark and I’m positive many people might join in but then again idk that might be just me since I’ve a movie club membership.”

“I love working at Brookdale of Forest Grove. I have been at this community for 13 years. I have met so many amazing people here. The residents are like an extended part of my family. The staff is always willing to help with whatever they can. My parents also lived here at this community for awhile until my Dad passed. They also liked it here. They made some good friend and they loved all of the different activities they had to say offer. I would recommend coming in to see what we have to offer your loved ones.”
