Anvil Academy

Went to my first blacksmithing class, I had an absolute BLAST. The instructors were very knowledgeable and helpful. Super encouraging to myself and the other students in class. The size of the room meant that we could all comfortably work side by side while the instructor walked through and gave tips/pointers, without making us feel like we weren't in charge of our steel.

I will definitely be becoming back for follow up classes! (After my arm remains function, of course).

Super fun class. Rob was great, highly recommended.

I bought my boyfriend some blacksmithing classes for his birthday. There was a pre requisite class and the second was making a knife. The classes are pretty reasonably priced for what you are learning and he had a ton of fun. Rob is a great teacher and goes around the room spending individual time with each student. I highly recommend this school if you just want to try it out.
