Newberg Dog Park

Good things about the park: there is water for the dogs, shade, bags to take care of waste, and even a few toys for the dogs. The play area is fenced and fairly large. The play areas are partitioned; one side for small and shy dogs and another for large dogs. For the humans, there are picnic tables in the shade, and if you want to come with a child supervisor, you can send the kids down to a really nice playground right beside the dog area. A very cool skate park rounds out the larger park area.
Bad things about the park: although there are port-a-potties, the day we were there, they were filthy and out of paper. The gravel parking lot is oiled to keep down dust, and I really don't like the idea of my dog walking on that and then licking a toxic substance off of his paws. So bring something to wipe down your dog's feet.

Needs some maintenance to ensure it's clean; should be cleaning up after yourself but it didn't seem that way the couple times I've been.

Great training area for shy dogs like mine. Also has a nice gating system to keep dogs in while others enter and exit. Friendly people if you have a shy dog and need to do some private training, and a nice run for larger dogs.

Really perfect dog run with plenty of space for large dogs and small dogs. Either separately or together. Shredded bark ground cover, never muddy. Separated entry and exit double gates. Water and shelter.

It was good. We have 3 small dogs. They had fun running free. It is divided into 2 areas big dogs and small dogs.

Pretty nice, only a few spots that were super soggy. Covered area is decent sized. No bathroom but has a Porta potty.
