“Long story, but we moved to South Carolina in 2017 for my work; when work brought me back to Oregon, we moved to the first place available prior to moving to West Parc. That place was terrible; so bad that we broke our lease after 3 months. West Parc is considerably better than the other places we have lived in the past (we had lived in houses for 20 years; but since we kept our SC home, decided to rent in Oregon). 1. There are kids at all apartments and the children here have caused me no issues. If I am walking toward my car or anywhere on the complex, they treat me with respect. 2. All apartments have "thin" walls. For the most part, I don't have any problems with our neighbors. I hardly ever hear anything and there really is not that much noise as compared to any of the apartments on Evergreen or Cornell 3. We had a door that was repaired prior to moving in and have had one time where we needed maintenance and the staff was responsive and respectful. 4. The neighborhood is very nice. Everything is walkable (Starbucks, several restaurants, I even walked to the store for groceries during the snow days). 5. I am definitely not a "fake" reviewer. Like I said, we have lived in a house for 20 years prior to moving back into apartments, and this complex is far nicer than any I lived in when my own children (now 31, 28, 25 & 23) were young. 6. Easy drive for anyone that works at Nike or Intel.”

The neighbors greet one another and the managers and maintenance folks are very responsive and professional. The apartment was very roomy and the closets are very spacious. This is an older building and kitchen cabinets are original and the counters have a surface treatment. There is some sound transfer (i.e.ceiling fan, music) and it makes the place feel less isolating and more homey. The plants and trees are cared for by a landscape maintenance company and it is nice to look out over the courtyard and walk among the firs in the back. Four stars are only because of an electrical substation located adjacent to the play area. otherwise, would stay. Only moving due to change in circumstances, other would stay.”

“Moved in a couple of months ago. Very happy with Jessica and Kayla, they have been extremely helpful moving in and getting all the paperwork done. Jessica gave us a great tour of their show unit, walked us around the place and was helped us with all our questions. We also had maintenance done by Jim, always went very well, very friendly and overall just great service. They are also super responsive!! The apartments are very bright with big windows, lots of green around and the property is always kept clean and neat. Also enough visitor parking, we’ve never had an issue with someone not being able to find a spot. Sofi is a great place if you want to live in a safe neighborhood with a lot of walking opportunities and nature paths, a few local shops and bus access. Would 100% recommend Sofi. Only negative would be If you get unlucky with neighbors living above you with kids and a dog you may get unlucky like we did. Kids constantly running around really makes a lot of bonking noise and even shakes the floor/ceiling to the point that you can feel it sitting in the couch or it shakes your lamps and paintings on the wall to the point they fall down sometimes. Tried talking to the neighbors but were met with “I have 3 sons, boys will be boys”. Unfortunately nothing you can do in a situation like this just go for a top floor rental or get lucky.”
