My mom was a resident at Grandview and it was the most wonderful experience. The staff and director make sure all of your loved ones needs are met. They get you up every morning, bathed, dressed and ready for breakfast. The food is home cooked and if you don’t like what they are having there is always other options. I would do it all over again. I got to love everyone that works there like family.
It is so refreshing to know there are still personal care facilities that prioritize patients needs. My dad unfortunately never made it to Grandview as his health quickly worsened and he passed the day he was to move in. However, I had more than enough dealings with the facility prior to the move in date to give a fair and objective review of the facility and staff.
After my dad had fallen at a different facility and received multiple fractures, there was a lot of uncertainty with his prognosis. When other places were making excuses for not accepting my dad, Grandview had a “can do” attitude and welcomed the challenges my dad’s care would present. From the minute I walked into Grandview for an unannounced visit, the staff was friendly, courteous and professional and the facility was clean, pleasant smelling and well maintained. And much to my surprise it was very affordably priced compared to comparable facilities.
Because of my dad’s condition there were many moving parts when considering his transfer end everyone we spoke with from the owner to Becca (head of admissions) to the staff there was continually flexible and willing to do whatever was needed to make his transition a pleasant one, and all of this occurred over Christmas which made it even more incredible. Everything they did was if they were doing it for their own loved one.
You never want to lose a parent but I wanted so much for him to experience what I saw in the facility and staff. I have no affiliation with Grandview and I didn’t even know it existed 3 weeks ago but with so many bad facilities out there I wanted to make sure this good one was recognized. I would have given more than 5 stars if I could.
I have worked there and absolutely loved it!! The owners and staff are the best. They are caring compassionate and skilled to care for their residents. They not only love the residents but the families as well..This is a wonderful place to have your loved one live!
Grandview estates is a wonderful facility, the staff is fabulous and go the extra mile to make the residents feel loved and made to feel special. You can tell the staff truly loves what they do, and love who they are caring for. The place always smells clean and the rooms are always well taken care of. The staff is always smiling and make everyone feel welcomed. It is all around one of the best and cleanest personal care homes I’ve ever seen and the owners are wonderful people who are kind and caring . They truly make you feel like family from the moment you meet them. If I could give this place more then 5 stars I truly would. I highly recommend placing your loved ones in the care of this facility and the wonderful staff that works there.
The staff at Grandview was fabulous with our dad. His dementia required round the clock care and they treated him with kindness and respect as one woukd with their own father. He was always well-dressed and his room was very clean. We were very comfortable knowing he was safe and loved. And I would like to give Joe a special thanks for taking the time to shave dad even if it was multiple times in one day!
