Knob Hill Community Park

Knob Hill playground is the lone 5 star playground in a vast sea of rusting, basic 3 stars scattered at every school and park. Either it was just recently built or the community (or whoever made the decisions) really researched and implemented an incredible little area for kids to play. Two weeks ago, I took my 5 year old son to play at the playgrounds at the new mega elementary school that was recently built (for millions) in the suburbs where I grew up, and parts of it were broken and boarded up or had caution tape around it. Every single metal piece was rusted and borderline unusable. Then there's the playground at Knob Hill, where everything looks brand new and all of the metal pieces/parts were so whisper quiet that I wondered if perhaps a new type of material had been designed and created solely for use at this playground. 😄

Final thoughts: Remember Dorothy opening the door to Oz?? This park is kinda like that, so not only do I highly recommend bestowing your child the incredible opportunity to play at this playground, but also that whomever built this place be the first person you contact if you're in a position to implement a new playground somewhere.

This is an amazing, park for kids! I still believe the older wooden one was better. The disc gold course is top notch

Fantastic park with well maintained facilities. Spacious enough for a large party or event. Local disc golf course is one of the best in the world

A lot of pretentious parents floating around but it's still a unique little spot. Safe for all ages and it has equipment that is super fun. Loved it!
