Ascension Lutheran Church

A very enthusiastic community of believers. Great blended worship service with a variety of music.

When you walk into this church, you can feel it vibrating with warmth and love. There are lots of people who are actively involved, at all different age ranges so it was easy to plug in and build friendships. The people here love God and are hungry for his Word. It's a great place for Bible study, and to serve (lots of options for different ministries).

I have been a member for over 10 years. The members, Elders and other officers are wonderful. Our music director and organist is so talented and we have traditional and contemporary hymns. It has been stressful during this COVID time, but I’m happy we are able to worship again. Everyone wears masks, we have social distance seating and pews are sanitized after each service. We are looking forward to getting our new pastor in December and work together to grow our ministry.

My family and I have attended Ascension for 20 years and we enjoy the many activities there are here. It seems there is always some program to participate in or activity to do. There are numerous volunteer positions if you want to get more involved. And almost everyone does get involved in one way or another.

Ascension Lutheran is a very special place because of its people. They are very warm and welcoming to all who come through the doors. Also, their bible studies are top notch. I really enjoy studying with everyone in attendance.
