Monroeville Rehabilitation and Wellness Center

Safe and convenient location. Rooms are overall clean but could use a deep clean. Over half the building appears shut down currently, appearing to be a bug problem. That said, there were no bugs present in the section open. Breakfast is included but only on par with the likes of Super 8, nothing special.

The room (222) was clean and the bed was comfortable. The pillows were a different story. There were three on the queen bed and two were hard and lumpy while the third was barely passable. The small refrigerator (half size of a dorm fridge) worked. I did not use the a/c or microwave. Towels were clean and sufficient. There is a Continental breakfast that includes a waffle maker, oj, Apple juice, and coffee. The laundry room is extremely small, and unkempt, plus they have no supplies available. The staff was friendly. The outside was clean and the carpet in the elevator is in need of some TLC. It was a quite location.

Room was clean, bathroom was clean. Only complaint was the mattress was ok but not really comfortable and the pillows were flat. Also the TV only played one channel and the remote world only turn the power off and on and adjust the volume.

Staff friendly and accommodating to our early check-in and last minute change in # of guests. Also helpful with extra towels. Room very clean and beds comfortable. Breakfast was sparse, but the coffee was great! Continental breakfasts are usually lackluster. I will definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Upon my admission the staff was extremely nice and welcoming. Everyone has been so nice and patient while I have been here. I truly appreciate everything they do for me.

I have been a resident at this facility for 3 years and i love it here! Activities staff are great and provide lots of stuff to do also the therapy dept is amazing and have helped me so much! Also the nursing staff treats me like I'm family I highly recommend this place if your looking for somewhere to place your loved one!

I have been in 5 different nursing homes in the last 2 years and this is the only facility that was able to help me! My therapy was awesome, after not being able to walk for 2 year I am now up and walking and able to return home with my family. The administrative team was very helpful in every aspect of my care. I liked the fact my husband was allowed to come in during off hours. I really enjoyed the fathers day's entertainment the facility provided. I ate in the dinning room and was able to pick out meals I preferred. The only downfall was there was a delay in receiving my medications and creams. And bathroom was left unclean for a day. Other than that I had a very nice stay at this facility. I would recommend this facility to any friend or family member!
