UPMC Hillman Cancer Center - Monroeville (Medical Oncology)

My experience here for the most part was outstanding. Dr. Khanna was awesome. He took the time to explain everything clearly about Non Hodgkins Lymphoma Large T cell to myself & my fiancée. He wanted to make sure I understood what the best treatment option was and what to look for going forward. He also explained about a stem cell transplant that I was going to undergo. Always took the time to answer questions and just laugh with you and put you at ease with the chemo treatment. Dr. Khanna left because he moved so now I have Dr. Akbar. He's great and goes out of his way to make sure you're comfortable and understand everything. He's so thorough with everything. I couldn't have asked for a better group of Doctors. They are definitely the best. And I'm forever grateful to them. As of right now I'm 6 months cancer free. Oh and I can't forget Dr. Allison Seghal at Shadyside Hillman for my stem cell transplant. Thank you all so very much.

Dr. Mehta is the best. I’m 10 years Breast Cancer free, I owe a part of that to the care I received here.

Dr. Sehgal is one of the best Dr's we've been to, and my mom has been to A LOT. He is kind, explains very well, and doesn't rush our of the room, He actually encourages questions. Sometimes there is a wait, but he is more than worth it, and the staff are great too.

Great people providing wonderful care. They've kept me alive for 14 years and I appreciate it. I'm not sure why people are whining about the facility, my experience has been outstanding.
