“I first met Dr. Prisk in 2009. I had ruptured my posterior tibial tendon in my left leg and it had been misdiagnosed repeatedly. By the time I saw Dr. Prisk, I could barely walk. He performed a very involved reconstruction and took excellent care of me during recovery. He restored use of my left leg! Just after my recovery, I fell on icy steps resulting in a compound, dislocated high ankle fracture of my right leg. My primary care doctor convinced me to allow a local surgeon to do the repair and it was a disaster. As soon as I was able, I went back to Dr. Prisk and asked him to take over. Several years later he has been addressing ankle damage and my pain with another surgery, conservative measures, therapy, braces, etc. The condition of my ankle is progressively getting worse and he is beginning to talk about a fusion, which I will probably do. I so appreciate the fact that Dr. Prisk brings so many qualities to the doctor patient relationship. His expertise is unquestionable! He is also caring, thoughtful and he offers personalized care. In my case, I'm grateful that he presents all my options, gives me his opinion, but also gives me the opportunity to be active in decisions about my health. I have recommended him to many people!”
