My brother has resigned at this home since 2010 I have found Ministration employees warming..They appear to care for my brother Garland and he is taken care well..

So I toured 3 different facilities in the South Dallas area the one that stood out was Fairpark Health and Rehab. During my tour I payed close attention to detail on how the staff interacted with the residents and there is a genuine care for the residents.

This facility was an excellent place for my nephew to spend his last few days on earth. The staff was always helpful and understanding. They allowed us to stay with my nephew at all times and provided drinks. Yes, it's in a very colorful part of town and yes the facilities are not the prettiest. But the staff was super caring, they would tell us stories of how nice my nephew was to them. They made us feel at home and it was obvious that they got to know the patients there. Wanda and Linda were amazing and all the other staff. Thanks for all you did to keep my nephew comfortable and the family at peace,

This place and all the staff are absolutely AMAZING! Unfortunately my son was in a situation where he needed 24hour hospice care but was very fortunate to have spent his last month on earth at this facility. I am very thankful and grateful that this is the place the good Lord provided for him. He felt very welcomed here and the staff loved him. One early morning he was rushed to Baylor when a mass he had on his leg ruptured and he was very weak and had lost a tremendous amount of blood they didn't expect him to live more than a few hours. He had been in out of hospitals the last few years and didn't want to be there. He requested to go back to Senior Care to be in his room and in his own bed. Thankfully his wish was granted. When we arrived there were about 10-15 family members that joined us and the staff was very welcoming and accommodating they moved out the other bed in his room and brought us all chairs and coffee and a tray of cookies so we could spend our time by his side. We were blessed to have him a few more days and we had other family and friends visit throughout that time and the staff was very understanding and shared stories of having my son as a resident there. There were alot of us there all day every day and a handful of us that spent the night every night. The staff was very loving and have a passion for what they do. That's very hard to find these days. They provided blankets and reclining chairs for us to sleep in so that we could stay by his side 24 hours and were very generous to make sure we had coffee when needed. They have a recreational facility and allowed the kids occasionally to use it to release some of their energy (with adult supervision of course). It's a very family oriented place and I truly believe it's one of a kind. I can appreciate why my son wanted to spend his last moments there. The neighborhood is a little intimidating but once you're inside Senior Care it's a completely safe, loving and friendly environment a whole different world. They have fun there and all the staff get along very well. A special thank you to Linda, Wanda, the Tall extremely friendly Gentleman at the front desk that works afternoons and nights, all the beautiful ladies at the nurses station, the tall gracious gentleman that came in and said a prayer with my son and the family to bless us, the janitorial young man and the kitchen staff. They also let us use their dining room to have a family meeting and for lunches and dinners that our family brought in. I cannot say enough about this place. I will be forever grateful to them and will make donations. Once we're settled we plan to visit and thank them all personally. If anyone ever wants a place to donate to I promise this is the one. They are very gracious and loving people that truly care about their residents. If anyone ever has the need for their services, I strongly recommend this place .
