Pittsburgh Botanic Garden

I've visited in the fall and for the amazing winter light show just this season. I absolutely love what this place has to offer. It's so important to educate our young humans to care about nature and native species and the botanic garden is definitely doing that.
As for the light show... holy mother of pearl was it so beautiful!!! I could have stayed forever if not for worrying about my feet freezing off ♡ will definitely return in the spring and summer ♡

Such a beautiful venue - even in the dead of winter!! I photographed a wedding here in February and it was BITTERLY cold outside, and Emily and her team still made the day beautiful and cozy. Their ability to coordinate weddings is just stellar - I can't wait to hopefully work another wedding here soon (maybe when everything is actually in bloom!)

A hidden gem in this area! Such a quiet beautiful place to enjoy a variety of paths and plants! Definitely reccomend an all terrain stroller if walking with one. Bug spray on the warmer days is also a good idea. There are places to sit along the paths, beautiful places to sit and read. A fantastic sensory garden that kids of all ages can enjoy. Definitely worth visiting!

Pittsburgh Botanic Garden is such a beautiful location full of bright greenery, flowers, and beautiful spaces. The interior of the main building is stunningly modern and a beautiful backdrop for interesting portraits. The barn and reception space are so fun and beautiful. The entire area is a wonderful backdrop for couples on their wedding day. I highly recommend! I love photographing weddings at this beautiful location.
