I am proud to say THAT THIS IS MY CHURCH and I am blessed to have been led here. Pastor William Glaze is an excellent teacher whose sermons are educational, informative, relatable and even humorous at times. I love the way he weaves old-school song lyrics into his sermons. He will recite lines from artists such as The Temptations, Marvin Gaye and I believe a couple of weeks ago he even recited a line from, can you believe it, Jimi Hendricks! Gotta love it! Our Congregation is made up of humble, welcoming, friendly, loyal and genuine people who are steadfast in their journey to follow Jesus Christ. There are no fake or pretentious people at Bethany Baptist Church that I've come across. If you have never visited us, please do yourself a favor and join us one Sunday morning. Our service begins at 10:30 a.m. I hope to see you there!

This is my church where Pastor Glaze Teaches The Bible,and is a example of his teachings. The congregation is very friendly, uplifting, and supportive of our community ,With numerous outreach programs.

What a wonderful asset to my Homewood community! The feeding program is dynamite! I bring my clients down here every Friday to get FREE yes FREE99 hot meals and I even started to get myself one for lunch because the food is so delicious! I asked to meet the cook (Marcia or Maria I can’t remember:-/ I’m sorry) and she was so sweet, humble & kind. The older ladies need to be a little more friendlier but what can you do? I explained to the cook what I do for my clients (Helping displaced families get back on their feet) and the needs they have, she literally told me to come back the following Friday and she would have something to give us. Wasn’t expecting that at all! I had no clue what. We came back and she had 10 gift cards to Walmart, clothes, shoes, toiletries & household items! It brought not only me to tears but my clients whom I was with that day, to tears! She’s amazing! Thank you Bethany Center for EVERYTHING you all do for your community! Please don’t ever stop! We need more organizations like you! God Bless You! Hope to attend Sunday Services once the doors open back up.

I met with Executive Director, Rebecca, about a possible job opportunity. Although that's been filled by a volunteer, I thoroughly enjoyed meeting a number of employees there. They are a vital community organization that currently is feeding as many of the community members as possible. They tirelessly seek out grants and other funding to do everything they possibly can to help everyone that they possibly can.

This is a church full of friendly people athirst for the Word of God! Rev. Dr. William Glaze is the Senior Pastor, he is an exceptionally great Bible teacher and preacher!
