Sewickley Speakeasy

Great food. Excellent customer service.

The Speakeasy is a rare treat. They have a menu of "lighter" fare with an appetizer, soup or salad, entree, and dessert. They also have a regular menu with a wider array of choices for a bit more money. The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is cozy, charming, and elegant at the same time. I also have to give them a lot of credit as one of the few restaurants that have Port wine available, as this is one of my favorite post meal digestifs. All-in-all, a wonderful place for a quick meal off the lighter fare menu or a special occasion night out!

Always great food and a relaxed atmosphere. Its an old school vibe in this place but it isn't overdone. Im sure someone has said this before but I wish the mural on the boulevard was repainted and brought back to life! I remember when it was first painted many years ago.

I have been there many times over the years and have always enjoyed it. Personally, I feel so comfortable with the early 1900s decor. There are lovely and fun advertisements and artwork. Low lighting and the spacious dining area (apart from the bar) add to the elan attached to a name like "Speakeasy." Much like a speakeasy in 1930, one should call to be sure there is enough room for you and your party. There is a price fix special dinner on certain evenings that has always impressed me - very good food at a great price. Please try it, and let 'em know SK's friend CK sent ya!
