We used to walk with our pup and our baby girl in arms along all the well maintained trails while enjoying all of the wildlife and sometimes skipping stones across the pond and stream. 😊
(May 18, 2021, 8:18 am)Although I have only used the paved trail around the rec center, the area is great for walking a dog. Its about a mile around. Its never been too crowded, has doggy dodo bags and depositories along the trail.

(May 11, 2021, 11:24 am)Pros: Great place to go walking, tons of trails that run through heavily wooded areas, the wetlands and Chartiers Creek. Also, their is a flat concrete walking tack if you prefer something a little more gentle on the body. Dog friendly, doggy clean up bags & trash cans available to the public. Friendly community.
Cons: When the baseball games are going on, it can get a little crowded. Also, if you choose to explore the wetlands area, it does have a an odor and your shoes will get muddy.
(February 21, 2021, 9:19 am)This park is gorgeous and quite large. There are probably some of the nicest playgrounds for children in the South Hills. There is also ample walking trails including a large wetlands area and a nature preserve. There is various parking available throughout the park and there are organized sports fields and pavilions available. Our friend group loves to meet here so our children can play. Definitely recommend.
