I live in the village of Lackawaxen & walk my dogs across the Roebling daily. I’m grateful to live in such a scenic area. There’s many hiking trails within 1/2 hour radius & of course, the river. Wether you boat/canoe/kayak/tube or just hang by the shore, the sound & smell of the river gives a priceless connection to nature. Bald eagles nest nearby & are commonly seen here.

Beautiful scenery. Fresh air. Just breath taking views!
Incredible views. Relaxing slow part of the country. Within few miles of several major cities but seems like a different world. Lots of wild life. Great fishing opportunities. Some more remote areas a high clearance vehicle is useful, some may say a must. Lots of different types and levels of accommodations in the area, from camping to top end full service resorts.
