(August 8, 2015, 12:01 am)What a beautiful peaceful stay! I visited for 3 nights with 2 other ladies and we stayed in the Sunrise suit and Mabel's room! We didnt want to leave. Its on 5 acres approx 35 min from Lancaster, 20 min to Reading. The food is exceptional! There is a back porch screened in and lovely landscape. Nita picked from her garden sage, mint, and flowers for adding to our picture perfect breakfast. I need to plan another trip soon!Thank you!!

(June 25, 2015, 4:41 pm)This is a destination place for a relaxing retreat: great bed and super shower in Zackon Suite, a little library, pleasant and comfortable reading and visiting areas, air conditioning, historic building with attractive decor, expansive well-kept grounds to stroll about, friendly and thoughtful hosts who know the area very well, delicious food (dietary preferences accommodated), reasonable prices — we liked it all. It is worth six gold stars. We will be back!

We stayed in the Zackon room which had a full king, gas fireplace, flatscreen tv, clawfoot bathtub and shower with two regular heads and three horizontal sprays. The owners (Marc and Nita) are great; very knowledgable about the area and just all around good people. The breakfast was pheonomenal. Nita made us blueberry stuffed french toast, eggs on a biscuit and sausage. We found these guys thanks to google (thanks Google) and I almost hate to leave a review this good lest more people start booking them and rob us of our next trip. Well worth it...you will not be disappointed.
