“Love Bob's! I went yesterday to purchase a new mattress and foundation for my daughter. There are now 4 Bob's mattresses in my home and we've never slept better! I have a bad back and have been postponing surgery for years. I don't wake up in pain anymore like I did on other mattresses. We also have a sectional couch we purchased about 2 years ago. It holds up remarkably well for having 2 adults, 4 kids plus all their friends, 2 dogs and 3 cats climbing all over it every day. No stains, tears, or visible signs of wear. The delivery guys are so sweet and very professional. They arrive when they say they will, and take care of everything. I have never received anything other than the utmost respect and kindness from all Bob's employees. I think there is definitely a culture of high customer service in place here. I have a Bob's credit card, financing is easy and I love that there's no interest if you pay off the charge in a certain amount of time. I have to intentionally leave my credit card at home or I would be shopping there everyday! Thank you, Bob's, for your wonderful business model that shines from the top down. “Penn State Berks’ Thun Library has a new name, at least a new name to me. It is now the Boscov-Lakin Information Commons at the Thun Library just confuse a new person to the area. I've had a Penn State library card for over five years now and it is valuable to me. I recently ordered a hard to find book from the system. I had difficulty signing in online so I called the library direct. I called on Friday afternoon and the book arrived on Tuesday. Wonderful service! I have four weeks to return it so I'm taking my time reading this wonderful novel which I think it is a first edition from 1955. When I have the time I love to go exploring the library. I love the bound magazine books like Time from the 1960’s. It’s fun to look back and explore history. There are computers for use and there is WIFI available for those who brought their own. The public restrooms are located in the center of the building toward the back. There is visitor parking up the hill and there is plenty of parking if you are a student with a parking pass. One thing that stands out is how quiet the library is. It is never enjoyable being inside a Berks County library, too many loudmouths.”

“The Christmas lights at Gring's Mill is a nice holiday treat that's very affordable. Admission to the park is only $5 per vehicle. There is live music in the upper level of the barn. The lower level is where Santa Claus and Mrs clause wait for taking pictures with the kids. The snack bar has all the seasonal treats, most of which are only $1. There are numerous light displays, a miniature train village, and best of all...live Reindeer!”
